Sheila L. Agnew McCoy is an author, entrepreneur, life coach and inspirational speaker with focus on self-development for women over 40.
As an entrepreneur, Sheila has developed a respected reputation for her work in event and project management, meeting planning, event marketing, promotions, trade show and exhibit manage. For five years, she co-produced Spirited Sisters Expo, a successful event in Columbus, Ohio that provided an arena for self-development through information, education and cultural awareness for women in business, careers and professional development, which became the inspiration for her first book, All About the Vets, “A Sharing of Life Experiences for Women of Honor.”
In the book, Sheila speaks to women through her experiences and those of others, to challenge, motivate and inspire them to pursue their passions and dreams regardless of age. Her second book, Dear ______, Are Your Missing Your Calling? released in November 2013 encourages readers to use their most important life events, whether joyful or painful to help develop a clear path and direction to understanding their calling and purpose.
Sheila has written numerous published articles. Her blogs include Our Season, Mo Better Inspiration by Sheila and a monthly newsletter, Mo Better Inspiration by Sheila. She is also a guest contributor to several blog sites.
Sheila’s work as a life coach and mentor has inspired youth and women in business, careers and personal development.
A Chicago native, Sheila currently resides in Atlanta with her husband, and also works in the film and TV industry as a background artist. She earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Chicago State University and a MBA from Walden University. She has received several awards and recognition for both her creativity and entrepreneurial skills.
