Surviving rape, molestation, drug abuse, teenage parenting and a misplaced father would scare anyone.
Nyeesha Williams is the CEO/Founder of Sacrit Devahood Incorporation. “Sacrit Devahood Inc, is a 501c3 non-profit organization in place to empower and help build young girls ages 11-19 through performing arts, social building skills and international interactions.”
Nyeesha has spent years dedicating her time motivating and inspiring teen audiences about the effects of happiness. She was known as the “grandmother” of her friends, but none knew she was a victim of sexual abuse and molestation by the age of 12. Nyeesha realized helping others in similar situations gave her such a rewarding feeling she decided to make it her career.
Hailing extensive backgrounds in performing arts, community counseling and organizational psychology, Mrs. Williams prioritizes empathy, patience and understanding in all relational interactions.
Traumatic personal experiences and a passion for mentoring youth led her to create the Sacrit Devahood Incorporation in March of 2009. Mrs. Williams is a strong believer that exposure to the performing arts inspires teen audiences to excel.
Nyeesha strives to help women shape their future and heal from trauma and abuse through an inspiring herstorys approach.
