More about the author:
Shirley Vaughn grew up in Southern California in a small family. Shirley says: “From the time I was little I’ve had a love for the Bible and received my first one when I was in the third grade.” When in high school, she had an encounter with the Lord and gave her heart and life to Him. While working full time and pursuing a B.A. in home economics at a local college, she met and married her husband, Greg. She was able to continue her schooling and received her Master’s in Old Testament studies.
When the time came to write her thesis, The Lord gave her a burden to write on the topic of tracing God’s march through time to the New Jerusalem. Her Professor would not accept this as a thesis. He said it was Doctorate work. The topic and compilation of this thesis was inspired by GOD and eventually led to the development of this survey of the Bible and earned Shirley her Doctorate of Ministry. God’s March to the New Jerusalem is a Christian Choice Book Award Winner 2013.
