Topics are writing, book publishing, social media promotions: I’ve been an author since 1997 and a journalist since ’87. My first book, In 2012, I llaunched my latest book entirely over social media—and it was a huge success. My first book, THE KILLING OF TUPAC SHAKUR, was a Los Angeles Times bestseller. My eighth book, THE MILLIONAIRE’S WIFE, was released by St. Martin’s Press in March 2012 and won a magazine award. I speak at writers’ workshops across the country, including at 2008’s National Book Festival in Washington, D.C. I am a blogger for Psychology Today, writing about forensics and evidence. I taught journalism and advanced magazine writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for five years. I regularly appear on the Discovery Channel, plus I’ve appeared on A&E, CNN, BET, and the BBC.
